Adam and I pschyed ourselves up marked our calendar and made sure we didn't plan anything for the entire weekend to potty train Bennett. We were prepared for the worst and hoping for the best results are quick as possible. In preparing we read a 3 day potty training guide and followed the guidlines somewhat, we had a few tricks in our back pockets. Treats...check, prizes...check, 15 pairs of underwear....check, variety of liquids...check and three positive attitudes...check!!!
After two days we are doing fantastic, only three accidents in total and belive it or not we have not had to change Bennetts sheets YET.
We didn't realize we would get so bored staying home for an entire weekend, so we created a little fun ourselves. Bennett and Adam were pretending to be KING BUMBO.
Bennett's prize for his first poop on the potty was a bubble gun, honestly it is for all of us, no more blowing bubbles until we are blue in the face anymore!!!
Because we had to stay close to the bathroom, we played with the bubble gun in the house.
Bennett was doing such a GREAT job, so I made cinnamon buns for a special treat.
Gavin was introduced to the jumperoo for the first time, which ended up being the perfect seat to witness this brothers potty training.
I had to include a few shots of Bennett in his big boy undies.
Disney/Pixar might offer us alot of money for this picture, hee hee.
We are only two days in but Bennett is doing a fantasic job, we are so proud of him. Thanks to everyone who gave him positive reinforcement on the phone.
