Tonight we were supposed to have a picnic around the Christmas tree but the power went out all over town. The black out lasted just over an hour so we had to be a little creative filling in the time.
It doesn't look dark because of the cameras flash but Bennett is making faces with the flashlight.

I was worried that Gavin would be scared of the dark but he thought the flashlights were a lot of fun too!
The boys had a candle lit bath.
Bennett played cars by candle light... he thought the dark was very exciting but was concerned a monster was leering about.
