Easter 2011

WARNING - LONG POST AHEAD

This Easter we headed out to Saskatchewan, the long 6 hour drive can get us all a little stir crazy so we stopped for a little stretch.

Bennett got to ride in the tractor with grandpa, something he MUST do when we visit.



 Uncle Tyler and Rebecca got a new puppy Isis who was the entertainment for the boys.  Gavin getting down to eye level.

We decorated eggs, Bennett in deep concentration creating his masterpiece.

Time for the great Easter Egg Hunt!

Mission Complete, two happy little guys!

Perfect weather to fly kites, but even better for taking pictures (he he)  The sky was absolutely amazing!

We pulled up the slack for the long weekend and helped out, I think Bennett has found his summer job!

The favorable mode of transportation for Adam and the boys.  Don't worry Bennett made sure he didn't go too fast!

I think you could see the smile on Gavin's face from space, he LOVED his ride!!

Chocolate tea party anyone?

We had a wiener roast with the perfect ending, smores.  Gavin even tried his hand at roasting a marshmallows and sooo proud of himself!

Rebecca tried her handcuffs on Bennett, cutest little criminal I know!

On our way home we decided to stop in Saskatoon and visit Dan at his fire hall.  Adam of course had to try on the whole outfit and prove that he would save his two big boys from a fire.  The funny thing was that just was Adam was undressing the alarm went off!!  Adam and I were both freaking out, hearts racing.  I grabbed the boys to get out of the way while Adam desperately flailing around trying to get out of Dan's equipment. You honestly wouldn't believe how calm the fireman were.  We watched the truck take off in amazement and giggled the whole way to the van about how nervous we were and how Adam might of had to go with them and undress along the the way.
