Our crazy and unpredictable summer weather sent us to the Calgary Zoo last week. Loaded with umbrellas we thought we would fight the predicted scattered showers that never did fall.
I am sooo happy that we did go because the weather was perfect and the boys absolutely loved all the animals. Gavin ran from enclosure to enclosure yelling animals, animals! So worth the trip.
First stop the Hippos and the big fish in their tank.

In the Africa part of the zoo there is a Rain forest building which had a flog like atmosphere. Check out Bennett in the background holding his nose.
Gavin was a little to afraid to join Bennett, too bad would have been a adorable picture.
Grandma and Bennett hand in hand. At each animal he would ask what is was and what it eat.
We had such a great day together and the zoo, I can't wait to go again with Adam.
