Our annual trip to the mountains for my Mothers Day run, extend this year by a day to include a family hike of Johnston Canyon. The weather was perfect the boys were excited and Grandma and Grandpa couldn't be more enthusiastic to go on the boys first official hike with them.
We made it all the way to the lower falls and back with not a single sound of wining or complaining, just the sounds of nature... it was magical for this momma!
We saw animals, a waterfall, had ourselves a couple of snack breaks. A wonderful but bit nerve racking hike at moments with Mr. Gavin and steep slopes but a memorable day for all of us!
