All we heard around town was that Mud Hero was coming to Red Deer.... so we managed to convince our husbands, that as couples we should all share in the experience of running the Mud Hero together. Team outfits in all, we were ready to conquer the mud with our friends John and Stacey Alexander and Levi and Jaime Honeker. It was probably one of the most fun yet challenging 5 km runs I have ever done. It was at Canyon ski hill, so yes, just like you imagine we had to run down the hill and back up it. We ran it as a group so we could watch each other flop and jumped into all the sloppy mud.
I just have to convince Adam to do all my runs with me, he is the best running partner out there!
