Roberto and Friends

My Dad has this Mexican friend Roberto (we should all have a friend like him)  He turns on the air conditioner a couple days before they arrive, fills the fridge with beer and drives a pulmonia (as his night job)and gets you the best deal possible on anything!  We saw Roberto almost everyday and some evenings he would pick us up to take us on the town.

Great Grandma, Bennett and Adam riding in Roberto's pulmonia
Robertos son Dylan, was playing in a soccer tournament so we got up bright and early for his 8am game.  Thank gosh we did, it was still almost 30 degrees.  Those poor little guys must have been dying playing in the heat.
Bennett and Dylan

Bennett watching in amazement.

I thought it was so cute, just as we were leaving Dylan patted Bennett on the head, his gesture of saying good buy as his english was not great.

Thanksgiving this year for us was celebrated at a restaurant "Heathers", the owner is a fellow Canadian who started a business in Mazatlan and for the holiday she cooked up a mean Turkey dinner.  We celebrated with some fellow Albertans who actually lived in Hanna years ago, how cool is that?
Thanksgiving family dinner.  Notice Bennett sitting with the big kids, he had soooo much fun.

The kids were our entertainment for the night dancing and having a blast!
Gavin's first Thanksgiving, he looks as plump as the Turkey!
We have allot to be thankful for this year!!
