We were so excited that summer finally started that we jam packed out July long weekend. Starting the weekend we met up with the Wecker family for a little reunion in Bentley. We took a little adventure down to "Treasure Island", a special little place Dad, Uncle Jack and Aunty Sheila used to spend many hours in the summer growing up. They said it was much smaller and overgrown than they remember, I guess that's what 20 years does to the land. One evening with a picture perfect backdrop we had a little family baseball game.
To finish off the weekend we drove to Crimson Lake near Rocky Mountain House to meet the Hill's family for a couple more nights of camping. The weather finally turned for the better and we had a wonderful time enjoying the great outdoors and even a beach day to celebrate Canada's birthday!
A jam packed weekend full of family, friends and FUN!
