Adam coached Bennett in baseball this year, a world wind of a season for this guy and his dad.

Beach Volleyball in Sylvan
The heat wave has hit Alberta at the perfect time! Adam played in a beach volleyball tournament in Sylvan Lake this weekend, so we came to cheer him on and soak up some sun.
I thought this snack dish was fitting for the beach.
This is how the boys surf in Alberta, ha ha!
Gav was such a little trooper all day, he finally fell asleep on a walk with his hand in the chip bag.
It was so hot outside that you almost had to jump in the water to cool off but the water was very chilly. That didn't stop Bennett, he was a brave little water bug.
Our boys practicing their volleyball skills, I think if we fast-forward time, we will be back here in 15 years watching our boys playing and cheering them on !
The perfect end to a hot day.... ICE CREAM!

Fathers Day for a working man
Adam was a working Dad this Fathers Day, so we made the most of the evening with him! We had supper on the deck, went for a bike ride and then had an unplanned water fight. Our neighbors must have been wondering what was going on in our yard (not that they couldn't just look right in!) I'm sure the giggles and laughing could be heard down the street. Sometimes you have the most fun when you don't plan and just let life. By the end, we were all soaked wet with huge smiles on our faces.
I think our boys are the luckiest little guys to have such a great dad!
Happy Fathers Day!

Daddy's Biggest Fans
Adam played in a co-ed Volleyball tournament this weekend, so the boys and I decided to come and watch. Honestly Bennett would not stop asking so we all went willingly to cheer on our #1 Dad.
Laura kept Gavin entertained so I could actually watch the game and Bennett was the best little cheerleader!
Kai did a little cheering for his dad too!
By the end of the game Gavin probably sent you a random text message...oops, sorry about that!
My little boys and balls, Gavin would do almost anything to get his hands on one of them!
A little lunch court side, good entertainment as you can see.
After Adam won his game he joined the boys for a little lunch.
I wish I could show you the art work that Bennett and Lee were working on as they kept score, so funny! Bennett's picture of his dad was a straight line, a pretty darn long one probably in scale.
