The Easter Post

Sorry this has taken me so long to post!  This year Easter was all about little adventures with our boys.  The pictures are in no particular order of events, but gives you an idea of what our weekend consisted of.

Adam and I did a neibourhood wide egg hunt and invited our the neibour kids to join us.  Gavin and Abby searched on foot, while Bennett and Ben jumped on their bikes.  It was a fun way to get outside and share some of our candy!

On one of the days we headed to Delia to spend sometime with family.  Amber and Danny were amazing hosts in their not so finished house.  Ham and potatoes on the BBQ, it was amazing!!
We spent the whole day outside on an egg hunt in Tin City, riding the quads and all the toys and enjoying the peace and quiet on the farm.

The AMAZING EGG HUNT

Ethan took some time to teach me how to drive the Track hoe.

Our Good Friday didn't go so well.... Gavin hurt his neck on a trampoline which sent us to the ER for a visit. Complete with a neck brace, x-rays and a shot of morphine for the pain.  Poor little guys :(

Our Easter festivities at home consisted of a hunt around out house and then some egg decorating.

Our happy little bunny!

Easter 2012

Easter, such a fun time of the year for us!  The thought of the weather warming up (and yes this year it has just been a thought!) Who wouldn't love this time of year!  The boys played an important role in Easter baking this year.  They helped make their own chocolate birds nest, don't worry we didn't share any that they made, as you will see there were lots of finger licking!
We were all very happy with how they looked in the end.

We made the trip out to Sask for Easter, hoping the Easter would find us out they.  He sure did and spoiled the boys ROTTEN!!
It seems to be tradition that Uncle Tyler takes the boys out for a quad ride no matter how cold it is!

I love this picture, if you look close enough you can see that Uncle Dan is reading the boys a Canadian Gardening magazine and has their full attention!

We decorated our eggs as some funny characters this year!

The great Easter Hunt Extravaganza at Nana and Grandpa Roths house

We had such a great weekend, too bad the weather didn't want to cooperate.  The boys were sure happy that the Easter Bunny found us in Sask!
