Busy Weekend

 With the beautiful weather upon us, we seem to want to jam a weeks worth of activities into a weekend.  This weekend started on fire.... literally!! We were up with Bennett who was sick at 4 am and could see flames that were very close!  Adam went to check it out and saw three houses on fire just down the street from us. Here is the picture in the night and the next day.  We found out three 16 year olds started the fire that caused over 1.7 million in damages.

Both Bennett and Gavin became official bike riders!  Gavin on his Strideride and Bennett with no training wheels!!!

It was Ethan's 5th birthday so we met the Marshall family at Chucky Cheese in Calgary for a special lunch.  Poor Bennett wasn't feeling too good but was still a trooper!

Sunday we planted a garden with McMahons's at Marni's dads acreage.  Last year we did a crop share but got way too many weird veggies that we didn't enjoy eating, so this year we planted everything we love to eat.  A bit more work but we all know it will be worth it!

First fire of the year, and you know what that means...SMORES!!

With wonderful weather comes beautiful evenings, perfect for a fire with the family.  And of course what fire would not be complete without the chocolaty goodness of smores.  The boys were very interested in the process of starting the fire and wanted to help.
